Anushka Sharma unveiled the first glimpse of her look as Rosie Noronha in Anurag Kashyap's upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet' opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

Anushka posted the above picture on Twitter with a caption, "Guys introducing Rosie Noronha of #BombayVelvet @foxstarhindi @FuhSePhantom".
She essays the character of Rosie, who is a jazz singer and the love interest of Johnny Balraj, a boxer, played by Ranbir Kapoor.

'Bombay Velvet' is adapted from historian Gyan Prakash's book 'Mumbai Fables'. Set in Bombay of the 1960s, the film revolves around the story of Johnny Balraj and Rosie. It also stars Karan Johar, who is rumoured to be playing a negative role in the film.
'Bombay Velvet' is slated to release on May 15.
