Animal Teaser: Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor's complicated father-son bond is carved in blood

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's much-awaited film 'Animal' is drawing closer to the release. On Ranbir Kapoor's birthday today, the makers released the teaser of the film. The filmmaker who is known for the films 'Arjun Reddy' and its Hindi remake 'Kabir Singh' has claimed that 'Animal' is going to be an extremely violent film and seems like he was not making claims in the air.

The teaser of Animal gives us a glimpse into the relationship shared between a father and son set in the underworld essayed by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The teaser begins with a conversation between Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna on a field. They seem to be a prospective bride and groom, discussing their likes and dislikes. While Ranbir's character seems happy and calm, his tone changes when his father is mentioned in the conversation. We are then show the nature of his relationship with his father played by Anil Kapoor. In the later part of the teaser, we get to see the violent side of Ranbir who seems to be doing it all to impress his father. The teaser ends with a visual of Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist.

The film revolves around a troubled father-son relationship, which is set in the backdrop of extreme bloodshed in the underworld.

Earlier, the makers unveiled the pre-teaser of the movie. The video begins with several people who can be seen wearing skull masks, white shirts, black waistcoats, and ties. They wielded axes as well. Ranbir Kapoor, the lead actor in the movie, walks in with an axe in his hand to fight with the group. Ranbir swung his axe as he slaughtered several people, many of whom managed to flee. Ranbir can be seen wearing a white dhoti and kurta. He kept his beard and hair long. The teaser only showed a portion of the actor's face but some scars on his face were visible.

‘Animal' is an action thriller film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on August 11 but was pushed to December 1 due to pending post-production work. The film will be released in multiple languages.
