'Animal' is the only film that has secured the most number of theatres in the USA market, with 888 screens, surpassing several blockbusters, including 'Tiger 3,' 'Pathaan,' 'Brahmastra,' and 'Jawan.'

For the unversed, 'Animal' also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Animal' was initially set to release in August but faced delays due to post-production issues. The film will now clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur.'

'Sam Bahadur' is based on the life of India's first Field Marshal and military leader, Sam Manekshaw. The trailer which was released on November 7, offers a glimpse into Sam's world, the politics surrounding him, and his role in the Indian army. 'Sam Bahadur' is directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Talking about the big clash, Vicky shared, "I think that Friday, we both are gonna eventually gonna hand over our films to the audience. It will be the audiences' day more than our day. In today's time, we, as an industry, should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That's how we will flourish as an industry. We have those many weeks in a year, but as an industry, we cannot limit ourselves to making those many films in a year. We will have to make multiple films and we will have multiple releases on the same day."
