The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal' will be released a day earlier in the international market. The film, set to hit Indian theatres on December 1, will be released on the big screen overseas on November 31. Earlier, the film was supposed to be released in August, but due to post-production delays, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial was further pushed to December. Now, the film will release in India on December 1 and will clash with Vicky Kaushal's much-awaited film 'Sam Bahadur'
'Sam Bahadur' is based on the life of India's first Field Marshal and military leader, Sam Manekshaw. 'Sam Bahadur' is directed by Meghna Gulzar.
Talking about the big clash, Vicky shared, "I think that Friday, we both are gonna eventually gonna hand over our films to the audience. It will be the audiences' day more than our day. In today's time, we, as an industry, should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That's how we will flourish as an industry. We have those many weeks in a year, but as an industry, we cannot limit ourselves to making those many films in a year. We will have to make multiple films and we will have multiple releases on the same day."
