On Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted shooting for Ajay Devgn's Mayday at the Asiatic Library with the necessary safety procedures in place. Ajay Devgn has already completed the shoot of the first schedule of the action drama in Hyderabad. For the uninitiated, Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan have earlier worked together in Major Sahab, Khakee, Satyagraha and Hindustan Ki Kasam. The film sees the two stars collaborate after over seven years since Satyagraha released in August 2013.
Directed and produced by Ajay Devgn, the film stars Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Akanksha Singh and Angira Dhar. Speaking about Boman's character, he will be seen essaying the role of a top Airline's owner. As the rest of the actors will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the film, details about Amitabh Bachchan's role is kept under the wraps. The actor-director had also announced that the edge-of-the-seat human drama 'Mayday' will be hitting the big screens on April 29, 2022.

Speaking about the Kaun Banega Crorepati host, the actor, who was last seen in Gulabo Sitabo, has an impressive line-up of films in the pipeline including Rumi Jaffery-directed Chehre, Ayan Mukerji's superhero movie Brahmastra, and Nagraj Manjule's sports film Jhund.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn will also be a part of Indra Kumar's Thank God, which also stars Rakul Preet Singh.
