Tabassum
Veteran actor-host Tabassum dismissed rumours about her âdeath', which did the rounds on Friday. Best remembered for hosting the chat show, Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, on Doordarshan, she posted on her Instagram that she is "absolutely fine and with family." A few days ago, there was talk that she was suffering from Alzheimer's after her frail-looking picture went viral.
Earlier this month, Tabassum was hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19, but is now doing well. Hoshang Govil, her son and filmmaker, on April 15 had posted a photo of her from the hospital and wrote, "With the love and blessings of her fans, Mom Tabassum Govil has tested negative and returned home. She has beaten the Covid-19 virus and returned a warrior... Thank you for your constant support. God is great. [sic]"
