Alia Bhatt explains why daughter Raha`s face has not been revealed yet
How time flies! It is Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor daughter Raha's first birthday today. The couple, who tied the knot on April 14, 2022, welcomed their first child a year ago today. The Kapoor Khandaan was elated with the arrival of their newest member.
Although Raha makes headlines almost every day, no one has seen the little one's face yet. The stars have yet to post her photo on social media, and the paparazzi have not gotten a shot of her on the rare occasion that Alia Bhatt has stepped out with Raha in public.
The actress recently explained why the family has been protective about revealing Raha's face. Alia explained that they are not deliberately hiding Raha, they have not yet decided how they want to bring the toddler into the spotlight.
"I don't want it to seem like I am hiding my daughter. I am proud of her. If the cameras were not rolling right now, I would put a giant image of her on the screen. I love her. I am proud of our baby. But we are new parents. We don't know how we feel about her face splashed out all over the internet, she's barely a year old," Alia said at the HT Leadership Summit in Delhi.

The Darlings star, who recently won the National Award for her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi, said that they will share Raha's photos when they feel comfortable about it. "It is not like we will never let anyone see her face. I think we need to get more comfortable with this parenting thing and come to a comfortable decision that 'ok, now we are ready.' Whenever that moment comes. It could be now, it could be in the near future, it could be whenever. Whenever we are ready, it will happen without putting too much pressure."
The couple has an understanding with the paparazzi that they wouldn't click the picture of Raha. Ranbir's nephew, Taimur Ali Khan, son of Kareena and Saif Ali Khan, has been in the media spotlight from the day he was born. On the other hand, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's daughter has been shielded from the media - no one has seen her out in public yet.
