Director Gauri Shinde is doing it discreetly, but the inevitable whispers have reached us.
Ali Zafar's part in the Alia Bhatt-Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dear Zindagi has been snipped as reported by us in 'All's not well for Ali' (hitlist, October 17). Co-producers Karan Johar and SRK have agreed to not invite unwanted trouble after the Ae Dil... fracas.
Since the film releases next month, there' s no time to reshoot. This means Alia romances one guy less in the film.
