Akshay Kumar announces release date of Bachchan Pandey, unveils two new posters

Akshay Kumar has always been on a spree, both in terms of signing films and announcing them, pandemic or not. Back in 2019, he announced the action-comedy Bachchan Pandey and it was all set for a release on Christmas 2020. Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the film was postponed.

It's now releasing on March 18, 2022 on the occasion of Holi and Kumar has shared the news with two new posters that brim with rust and grit. The actor states that the film guarantees action, comedy, romance, and drama. It's directed by Farhad Samji and stars Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi in crucial roles too.

For the uninitiated, this was the release date reserved for Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor's Shamshera too. Let's see if a clash happens or not. Recently, to pique the interest of her fans and audiences, kriti took to the social media and shared a glimpse of her character 'Myra' from Bachchan Pandey on her Instagram story. She further wrote, "Bachchan Pandey!!! this one's special !!! Our third together #SajidSir @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson @farhadsamji."

The actress is at top of her game with an envious lineups of big banner projects like the Pan- India film Adipurush, Bhediya, Ganapath, Kill Bill remake with Anurag Kashyap, along with few other unannounced projects. And Kumar has Selfiee, Ram Setu, Oh My God 2, Cindrella, Raksha Bandhan, Gorkha, and a film with Tiger Shroff coming up.
