Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned 50 on Wednesday. The Bollywood diva celebrated her birthday at a charitable event with her mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya. Videos from the event, of Aishwarya cutting a cake with fans and celebrating, have surfaced on social media.
But what has caught the netizens' attention the most is a video of Aaradhya delivering a special speech in honour of her mother's birthday. "My darling, my life, my mama. Well, what I think she is doing is truly incredible and wonderful. We are celebrating with meaning, with purpose. It's truly enriching and fulfilling. It's helping the world, helping everyone, people around us. I just want to say, what you are doing it truly incredible," Aaradhya passionately said at the event.
Aaradhya's special message for mom
The 12-year-old starkid poured her heart out on the stage and took a bow at the end of her speech, while the audience cheered and hooted for her. Take a look:

Aaradhya has accompanied her mother to several events since she was a little kid, following her mother around like a shadow. This is probably the first time she has spoken out in front of the public, and netizens are finding the moment truly adorable.
"She's so well behaved. Ash does come off a bit âcontrolling' she should allow her daughter to continue to speak without interrupting her. She seems so worried and nervous with spotlight on her daughter and I am sure it's coming from a very protective side," one netizen commented on the video. Another fan said, "She is being raised with so much love and values and it shows!"
Aishwarya celebrates birthday at charity event
Aishwarya celebrated her 50th birthday on Wednesday and to mark the big day, she attended a special event organised for the welfare of cancer patients with her mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Dressed in white, Aishwarya looked gorgeous as she took the stage to cut her birthday cake. The three women cut the cake together as photographers sang the birthday song in unison. Aishwarya did not eat the cake as she was observing Karwa Chauth fast.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya were also spotted visiting Siddhivinayak to seek blessings as the former Miss World celebrated a milestone birthday.
