A day after her Twitter account was permanently suspended for her controversial tweets, Kangana Ranaut was welcomed on the Indian micro-blogging and social networking service, Koo App, by the founders. In February, she had posted her first message on Koo calling it "her home" and said that "everything else was just rented." In a statement, the founders said, "This is your home, you can voice your opinions to everyone here with pride."
In case you missed it, Kangana Ranaut's Twitter handle @KanganaTeam was suspended permanently after the actress posted a series of tweets perceived to be controversial.
On another social media platform, Kangana Ranaut shared a video which she captioned, "Distressed, beyond words, death of democracy. important message for our government #BengalBurning #bengalviolence [sic]"

As soon as the account was suspended, Kangana Ranaut shared, "Twitter has only proved my point they are Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do, fortunately, I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice including my own art in the form of cinema but my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved and censored for thousands of years and still there is no end to the suffering. [sic]"
Speaking about the homegrown micro-blogging platform, Koo on May 4 announced to launch a unique feature that will help users speak and type messages without using the keyboard in regional languages, apart from English. The team also welcomed Bollywood actress Kangana on the platform.
