The Yodha poster launched at a height of 13000 ft above sea level
The movie 'Yodha', starring actor Sidharth Malhotra witnessed a gravity-defying, cloud-nine moment with its never-seen-before poster launch. Turning the page of history, the action-thriller soars to new heights - quite literally - by becoming the first ever Hindi film poster launch at 13,000ft.
In the adrenaline-pumping video of the poster launch, transported straight from the skies to your screens, a group of professional sky-divers unveil the action-thriller film's poster among the clouds, over the blue waters in Dubai. In the brand-new poster, Sidharth Malhotra works his action-hero charm in all its glory, sporting a rugged look with an assault rifle in his hand.
Presented by Prime Video and Dharma Productions, post their phenomenal success with the national award-winning film 'Shershaah' - in association with Mentor Disciple Entertainment, the movie 'Yodha' is directed by the debutant duo of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The action-thriller film also features Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in the lead roles. It is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. YODHA is the first co-production between Prime Video and Dharma Productions and marks a new chapter in the long-term fruitful partnership across titles including the direct-to-service premieres of blockbuster titles such as Shershaah and Gehraiyaan.
Sharing his thoughts, Karan Johar, Producer and Owner of Dharma Productions, said, "A special film like Yodha deserves a historic moment, one that makes waves through time. It's an out-and-out actioner. At the same time, it's edgy, it's slick, and most importantly, it's infused with the right amount of drama and thrill. Sid perfectly embodies the demeanour of an action hero. With YODHA, he has gone full throttle as the action hero of new India."

Apoorva Mehta, Producer and CEO of Dharma Productions, added, "Last year has been a gamechanger for Hindi action films at the theatres. So, there couldn't be a better time for an action-packed film like Yodha to truly shine at the box office than in 2024. We're looking at a high-octane action drama, so the events leading up to its release also need to live up to its pulsating spirit. And what better way to do so than having a first-of-its-kind poster launch? After all, it's about striking the right chords with the audience."
"Our association with Dharma Productions goes a long way, from Prime Video being the exclusive home to some of their most-loved titles to our direct-to-service world premieres of Shershaah and Gehraiyaan. Now, with Yodha, our first theatrical co-production with Dharma Productions, we are further our collective goal of telling stories that are entertaining and immersive," said Manish Menghani, Director and Head of Content Licensing, Prime Video India "Heralding a new chapter in
our collaboration with Dharma Productions, YODHA marks the return of the blockbuster combination of Prime Video, Dharma Productions and Sidharth Malhotra - this time on the big screen! We're thrilled to bring this exciting action-packed movie to our audiences, we couldn't have asked for a better takeoff than a landmark poster launch in the sky. With Shershaah, Sidharth left everyone gushing, âYeh Dil Maange More', and with YODHA, we're looking forward to seeing him weave his magic once again."
Sidharth Malhotra said, "This high-flying poster launch is just the beginning and it really sets the tone for the thrilling action to come. Without revealing too much I'd like to say that the audience is in for more such surprises before the release of Yodha, and I cannot wait to see how fans react to what's in store. This film marks a long association of mine with Dharma Productions, starting with Student of the Year to Shershaah and now Yodha. Each of the films we have worked on has resonated with both the classes as well as the masses, and Yodha will undoubtedly take this legacy forward."
'Yodha' is all set to hit the theatres near you on March 15, 2024.
