Actor Abhishek Bachchan turns a year older today. As the clock struck 12, his older sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda took to social media to wish her 'little brother'. She shared a childhood picture of her and Abhishek along with a fun note.
In the picture shared by Shweta, Abhishek can be seen sucking on to lollipop as Shweta who is also holding a lollipop looks at him. Sharing the photo, she penned, "It's not- if you know you know; it's only you know and I know. it's your Big Day Little brother - hope you enjoy the song. love you."

Shweta's daughter Navya Naveli Nanda also took to social media to wish her mama. She took to her Instagram stories to share an old picture of Abhishek posing with her and her brother Agastya Nanda. Along with the old image, she wrote, "Happy birthday to everyone's favorite, especially mine (red heart emoji)."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek was recently seen in 'Ghoomer'. The movie has Abhishek essaying a cricket mentor who trains a young cricketer, played by Saiyami Kher, who loses her right arm. Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi are also a part of the movie.
On Sunday, a day before Abhishek Bachchan's birthday, Amitabh Bachchan showered praise on his son for his performance in 'Ghoomer'. Big B took to Instagram and shared the poster of 'Ghoomer' featuring Abhishek and Saiyami Kher along with a note. The note read, "My prayers my admiration and love to you Abhishek .. you make me so proud .. most deserving .. not just this , but many more past present and future."
After watching 'Ghoomer', Big B earlier shared his honest review of his son's film.
He wrote, "So yes saw GHOOMER back to back twice .. Sunday afternoon .. and then at night again .. and the verdict is beyond mention .. simply INCREDIBLE .. eyes have been in the aqua flow from the very first frame .. and when the progeny is involved , they flow copiously .. and each reaction has some wonder in their thoughts and words and deeds .. each notices something that is so endearing and appealing .. the emotions relate to yes the game of cricket and the tale of a girl and her ambition .. but it is really the feel of the depiction and its impress upon not just the game, but of the effect of family, of the Mother , of what middle India stands for in our lives."
