So what's new? Why should you bother with this one anyway? The gibberish is kind of grating now. What's keeping you hooked?

Well, Carrey's enthusiasm for this sort of thing rubs off so well, even a kookily cute and otherwise drab Zooey Deschanel begins to get interesting.
It may not be 'the best comedy of the year' but it is definitely an entertainingly goofy two-odd hours well spent.

The Special Features on this one-disc DVD includes behind-the-scenes madness with Carrey, a revelation that he's doing most of the stunts you see in the film and a short introduction to Munchausen by Proxy and five music videos by the band.
The outtakes/gag reel are always ripe pickings. It's heartening to watch a man with so much joie de vivre that you cannot help but be infected by it.
If you're ready to overlook a wafer-thin script, put up with some nudity and generallyu00a0 put a smile on that face, it wouldn't hurt to pick this one up.
The range of video and sound options aside, it does have a few language options you can tinker around with and enjoy.
It's a no-brainer, make no mistake about it. Just say yes. And surrender.
