I am a complete foodie and when I travel to Rampur, Agra or even Delhi where my family gets together, I quietly slip away and go to eat at these small dhabas. Very few know that I also have a penchant for cooking.


Some of my friends in the industry know how well I cook, and if we are working on the same project, they wait for me to dish up something. This is because they know that I will instruct the cook on the sets on what to prepare and how or I'll make it personally. My van is never without a couple of stoves, pressure cookers and masalas.

Mutton/Chicken Achari is one of my popular dishes. My friends just love it and it's always on the popular demand list. I always make rice and roti and some green vegetable in different styles to go along with it. I remember an instance when we were shooting for The Camp. There was a village nearby and after a few days, the villagers started wondering how their chickens kept vanishing overnight!

So by now you'll have guessed that my dream is to open a hotel. I want to open one ideally in the mountains where the view is beautiful and the patrons are cru00c3u00a8me-de-la-cru00c3u00a8me. It will be a no profit no loss venture where you can satisfy your tummy or just enjoy a pleasant stay.
