Monsoon brings special moments with it. And this year my daughter Zaha gave me a moment that I will treasure for years to come.
I had stepped out for a couple of hours for work and got back home earlier than scheduled only to find my two-and-half year old dancing and playing in the rain with her cousin. She was completely drenched from head to toe.
I was livid and wanted to scream because all I could think at that moment was of her coming down with pneumonia. But the moment Zaha saw me, she gave me such a sweet and charming smile that I just couldn't say anything to spoil her fun.
She knows that she can get away with anything with that smile on her face (laughs). She looked at me with a guilty expression and the smile firmly in place and said 'sorry'. I just couldn't be mad at her anymore!
