MiD DAY spoke to five desi designers whose clothes Paris Hilton is likely to wear during her Mumbai trip starting this Saturday
We don't yet know whether Tinkerbell, her pet Chihuahua will smell the air of India, but Paris Hilton is just two days away from her India visit and the nation can't wait.
Parties have already been planned for the hotel heiress who's visiting Mumabi to launch her brand of bags and accessories.

Malini Ramani has sent a tie-and-dye knee-length dress with tousles that comes with Rajasthani mirror work on the yoke for the hotel heiress |
While on DAY 1, she's expected to party at Shah Rukh Khan's house with the rest of Bollywood, her Indian equivalent, Mumbai socialite Queenie Singh's throwing a bash for her which will have ace designer Rohit Bal in attendance.
What she wears to these parties is a hot button topic in the Indian fashion world. Designer Rocky S, who designed her clothes for a magazine shoot in Los Angeles, will style her look for her Mumbai visit and has picked up clothes from a few Indian designers.
On top of that list is Rocky's friend Malini Ramani. The Goa-based designer has sent a sweetheart neck tube dress embellished with countless Rajasthani mirrors, a Goddess saree-drape gown in a powerful magenta that makes 'every woman look like a goddess' and a tie and dye knee-length dress with au00a0 Rajasthani mirror work on the yoke and tousles at the end. All the pieces are from her resort collection.

There's something casual as well. "Like a chiffon jersey dress I have sent," says Malini who likes Paris's bold demeanour.
Delhi-based Gaurav Gupta has sent Rocky four to five pieces conceptually structured pieces. "She wore a couture gown in gold by me in the magazine shoot.
The clothes are all progressive fashion pieces that make statement. There are dresses and a golden saree gown. There's also a white short lace dress with drapes and a bit of 3D effect created by embroidery," reveals Guarav.
From Nandita Mahtani, Rocky has picked tunics and sequined shift dresses in chiffon with embroidery.
The designer also went to Rohit Bal's store in Mumbai to pick up four outfits. "They have taken Kurtas in mulmul with a crinkled texture, an anarkali in black and gold and a few other clothes in bright, light colours. Paris is stylish and beautifully turned out, although not path breaking or edgy in her clothes.
She's a safe dresser. Her sense of style is simple and elegant and she follows trends. But her clothes are very different from what I make. I can imagine her looking wonderful in a Tarun Tahiliani dress. Her style is very Western slinky and sexy," observes Bal.
That's perhaps why Rocky doesn't want Parisu00a0 to look completely Indian. "From my collection, I have picked dresses and tunics in soft, flowy fabrics like chiffon and georgette, some of which were shown in the Bangalore Fashion Week. She's not seen the clothes yet.
So it's difficult to say what she will end up wearing. She willu00a0 carry bags from her own brand and jewellery from Amrapali," states Rocky whose corset blouse in diamonds for the magazine shoot impressed Paris so much that she requested him to be her official stylist for the tour.
Rocky is all praise for Prais. "She's extremely stylish, down-to-earth, well travelled, confident, intelligent, young and feminine. People may think she's just a socialite, but you have to be really intelligent to make a brand name for yourself and strike so many business dealsu00a0 across the world," points out Rocky.
Agrees make-up artist Clint Fernandes, who's been appointed to do Paris's make-up during her stay. "She's an interesting, fun person. There's curiosity around her personality," says Clint, adding, "I like the way she does her eyes. It brings out her natural features quite well. I heard she wants to look Indian.

But I don't think going very Indian is a good idea for her. There has to be a balance. I will retain her usual smoky eyes with a glossy or bubble gum pink on her lips and an apricot blush-on as it gives a life to the skin. For her hair, it will be something that suits her and she's comfortable with. I could even use extensions."
Clint will ditch the bright mouth- nude eyes look that's huge globally. "A bright mouth won't suit her as she has large lips. Besides it doesn't go with blonde hair," he shares.u00a0
