Watch: First teaser of Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift'

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar released the first teaser and new poster of his upcoming film 'Airlift' on Wednesday.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to release the first teaser of the film. "Here is the @AirliftFilm teaser guys. This is a very special film for me. Hope you like it", wrote Akshay as he unveiled the first teaser.

The star also unveiled a new first look poster of the film.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, 'Airlift' also stars 'The Lunchbox' actress Nimrat Kaur.

The film is based on the evacuation of Indians who were stuck in Kuwait during the Gulf War.

'Airlift' is scheduled to release on January 22.
