Vidya barred from meeting Sabrina

It's common for actors who are playing real-life heroes on screen to meet their inspiration and Vidya Balan had been planning to do so too. Vidya plays Sabrina Lall, sister of murdered model Jessica Lall in director Rajkumar Gupta's film No One Killed Jessica. However, Gupta has forbidden her from meeting Sabrina. Apparently, he doesn't want Vidya to be influenced by Sabrina's mannerisms and wants her to interpret the character in her own way. So Vidya has only her own skills to fall back on. Considering her performance in Ishqiya, Gupta's decision seems to be a sound one.
