Tell us about your character in Rokkk.
I play a young woman who is married to a much older man, played by Sachin Khedekar. We get married after his first wife dies. Immediately after that, strange incidents start happening to my character. My psyche starts breaking down, my mental equilibrium goes for a toss. Do I recover and become normal again? For that you need to watch the movie.

Where was the movie shot?
Majorly in Mumbai and some parts in Khandala and Matheran.

Did any creepy incidents occur during the shoot?
Well, thankfully nothing happened to me. But yes there was one creepy incident. The production team would put up the set every night and when we would go the next morning, it would have collapsed. Call it a ghost or just a coincidence; I feel that the cast and crew get so involved when shooting horror movies, that it has impact on their psyche.

Two hot ladies in one movie. Were there any catfights?
No, no. No cat fights as such. Actually Udita (Goswami) and I didn't have any scenes together. The first half of the movie is based on me and the second half is on her. We hardly shot for two days together. Our portions were shot separately, so we didn't really interact much.

Tell us about your upcoming projects.
My film Apartment is ready to release. I am also waiting for the release of another movie, which I had completed a year ago. I had essayed an action-oriented character, similar to Angelina Jolie's role in Tomb Raider in the film so I hope it will release soon.

Tanushree's Spooky Tales

Sprits and Ghosts:
I haven't encountered any. But I do believe that they exist, otherwise why do we constantly hear about people getting possessed?

Childhood Horror Story: When I was a kid, my Nani used to tell me this folklore about a legendary ghost called Akanorha. He was a one-sided ghost in the sense, he had half a face, one eye, half a nose, one arm. But the concept of this one sided ghost scared me more than a proper ghost. I tend to visualise what I hear. Every time she told me this story, I would visualise it hanging from a tree with only one arm, and I would get very scared.

Horror time with friends:
I stayed in a hostel during high school. My friends and I would work a planchette at night and scare each other.

Fav horror destination:
Definitely Pune. Till a year back, I used to take regular trips to Pune. My friends and I would squeeze into a car and visit all the haunted places. We used to have dinner, party and rush there, we used to push and scare each other. It was so much fun!

Fav horror TV serial:
Aahat! I used to watch it when I was a kid, even though my mom would scold me and insist I go to bed. They used to have ghosts wearing white contact lenses! It was so funny! I hope the content has changed now.

Fav horror movie:
My all time favorite is The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. After watching it, I couldn't switch off the lights at night for two days. I also love Japanese and Korean horror movies.

Last seen horror movie: Grudge 4. I think the sequels don't have the charm, which the first one has. It's always only the first part which is scary.
