After Hrithik Roshan's superhero avatar in 'Krrish' series, now Tiger turns superhero in 'A Flying Jatt' and he thinks there can be several Indian superheroes.
'In Hollywood, there are various superhero films like 'Spiderman' 'Superman', 'Captain America'. And someday we will have an Indian (version of) 'The Avengers' film made because we have 'Krrish' and 'Ra.One'. Now, we have 'A Flying Jatt',¿ Tiger told reporters here at the trailer launch of the film.
'I think our audiences are used to seeing certain kind of cinema and someone like Remo D'Souza (the film's director) is trying to make something different. We have great talent here,' he said.
Director Remo D'Souza reveals he is a huge fan of 'Krrish'.
'We all know our India's first super hero is Krrish. I am a big fan of it and so is Tiger. But we are making a different film,' he added.
The 'Heropanti' star thinks Indian actors are very hard working and do multitasking as they romance, fight on screen, etc.
"We (Indians) have limitations when it comes to budget and that's the only difference in our films (referring to Bollywood and Hollywood films). In fact, what we Bollywood actors do that they cannot do and that is we dance, we sing, we fight and do a lot of things," Tiger said.
Remo thinks Indian films are at par with Hollywood films.
'We are trying our best to be at par with the West, but we have budget issues. But half of the special effects work (of Hollywood films) is done here (in India). We are all trying to bring a change,' he added.
Also starring Australian actor-wrestler Nathan Jones and Jacqueline Fernandez 'A Flying Jatt' will open in cinema houses on August 25.
