Sexism is not new in Bollywood, but sometimes certain statements can be taken out of context and miscontrued into something else. In a recent interview given by Tiger Shroff, he referred to his co-stars Jhanvi Kapoor and Ananya Pandey as 'padding'.
In the interview to Mumbai Mirror, the actor dismissed the question of who his female co-stars are going to be (in the upcoming sequel to Student of the Year) by saying, "I don't get involved with the casting at all. I don't really care about the padding around me. It's the script and my character that matter." This statement of his received a lot of flak on social media, with some people calling him 'sexist' and even 'self-absorbed'.
This isn't the first instance of Tiger Shroff's unchecked 'sexism'. Previously in an interview while promoting his film 'Baaghi' he said how he likes 'village type girls' and girls who are 'house wife material'. He also said he would marry someone who when he reaches home, would give him a massage, would stay at home, keep the house clean and give him home-cooked food.
Guess, Tiger hasn't really learned from his past mistakes or has his statement been taken out of context?
