With Friendship Day around the corner, it's perhaps as good a time as any to examine the ever-interesting subject of friendships in Bollywood. In an industry that has seen its share of ego clashes, some unlikely friendships have bloomed.
All the same, this is also the industry where friends have stood by each other through thick and thin. Some have also gone out of their way to do things for the other person. hitlist takes a look at some celeb friendships in B-town...
Friends forever
Some friendships have stood the test of time. We bring you some of these celeb stories...
Goldie Behl and Abhishek Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan and Goldie Behl are childhood friends. Abhishek has starred in two of Behl's films: Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai and Drona.
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar
They own a production company together and have been friends since a decade. Ritesh had once said, "We don't have egos and we are open to each other's inputs. Every decision that the company takes is a joint one and once a decision is made, there's no blame game if it backfires. This is what has made us remain thick as ever. Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan
Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan have supported each other during their difficult times. Their rapport was evident when they appeared as co-hosts on Bigg Boss. Salman Khan is said to have gone and met Sanju a few times before the latter went to prison.

Aamir and Jackie's friendship goes back a long way. Recently, Aamir came out in support of Jackie's son, Tiger Shroff, when he made his debut in Heropanti. The actor also advised the youngster to hire the same PR company.
Imran Khan and Akshay Oberoi
Not many people know that Imran Khan and Akshay Oberoi, who has starred in films like American Chai (2002) and Isi Life Main (2010), are close friends. The two first met in 2002 while attending an acting class and have been pals since then. This is why Imran Khan recently promoted Akshay's film.

Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar
Foe-turned-friends Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar forged a new partnership when they worked together on the anthology film, Bombay Talkies. Post that, they co-produced the film, Hasee Toh Phasee. Anurag has also appeared on Karan's chat show, Koffee With Karan, where the two had a heart-to-heart chat about the hostile vibes they used to share. In spite of coming from different schools of filmmaking, they are said to hang out together quite often.

It is known that Raveena and Asin walked in together at Karan Johar's birthday bash. The two, who share their birthday, are said to go together on shopping trips. They hang out together whenever they have free time.
