The second episode of Bindass' Beg, Borrow, Steal has a TV show host travel almost penniless. In the name of keeping it real, folks!
Beg, Borrow, Steal began last week on UTV Bindass without much fanfare. The reality show follows the adventures of a contestant who hitchhikes their way almost penniless to win big. In these bleak times of recession, the idea is basically to coach you, a wannabe budget traveller, how to get from Point A to Point B spending the least possible money.
Looking for the easiest way to get to her destination, Aaliyah hops on to continue her journey in a private car. However, she soon gets off the car midway as the businessman driving begins flirting with her which makes her increasingly uncomfortable.
In the meantime, Aaliyah finds abode with a family who own a highway dhaba. The crew makes her task to Chiplun all the more strenuous and demands that she diverts her route to Ganapati Pule to complete a money task.
The crew decides to make Aliyah's life tougher, challenges continue and the crew announces that she can only take lift from vehicles of number ending with only odd numbers!
Limited choices
To make the journey even more arduous the participants are only allowed to carry a backpack with a map, mobile and some money. They could choose to carry any three of the following a bottle of water, a packet of biscuits, a mosquito repellent, a torch, a sleeping bagu00a0 and sunglasses.
This choice is made at the beginning of the journey and cannot be undone. Viewers can catch the video diary of the contestant at the end of every episode where they deliberate on the choices they had made and the how they had endured the journey till then.
