The trouble with some sequels is that they never live up to the promise of the original. So if The Hangover Part I made stars of the Wolfpack, Part II is going to tell you that they should've never messed things up by making a sequel. Bangkok isn't the safest of places to be having a bachelor party. The guys should have seen it coming. Taking Alan (Zack) along was not the brightest of ideas and the guys were going to regret it. Oh, don't pretend. You loved the absolute crassness, the debauchery, the utter silliness that was the first film. It's what will get people into theatres by the droves. It's also going to serve as a big letdown that they're watching this tripe.

Well, for starters, Part II treads pretty much the same path as Part I, with a few cultural and geographical alterations. The gags are so predictable you see them coming a mile away. The sequel begins, middles and ends exactly as the first one did. The only difference is, the sequel doesn't have the same writers (or so it seems), the same enthusiasm, or any of the fun elements that made the first film such a hit around the world. And except for Ken Jeong, nobody seems to be having any fun.

The term "Bangkok has him now" gets thrown around quite casually and you are at your wits' end trying to get what that expression means. This film gets dirtier, grosser and pukeworthy... something like what a latter Farrelly Brothers flick would do to you. Now triple that minus the entertainment factor. Just stay away.
