Just after her recent bout of ill health, Sonam Kapoor's got a magic pillu00a0-- an invitation to walk the red carpet at Cannes in May. A super-excited Sonam talks to CS:

Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan) and Frieda (Pinto) are going to walk the red carpet too and it's a great feeling to have been invited along with these two beautiful women. I'm really excited to be going to Cannes, especially when I think of all the beautiful clothes and gorgeous make-up I'll be wearing. I love dressing up and though I'm going to be in Cannes only for a day, I'm going to make the most of it. Actually, it's a bit premature to tell you what my look will be, but I'm sure the designers will do their best.

Yes, going to an international film festival is a big deal. But I'm not going to put on a fake face. Rather than prepare myself, I'm going to be just me and have a good time. Endorsing your country is a big responsibility and I want to be casual and have fun. But yes, once the itinerary comes my way, I'll do a bit of homework as to what I want to do and whom I want to meet there. But my schedule's so packed, I'm taking only a couple of day's break from the shooting of Mausam to visit Cannes, that I don't really know what all I'll get to do.
