What happens when two immensely talented singers get together? The result is one rocking performance, we're sure. Though we're yet to hear Sunidhi Chauhan and Latino pop icon Enrique Iglesias croon together, we do know the stuff that they are made up of. The Sheila ki Jawani singer shares her excitement CS about collaborating with Enrique:
You will see different sides of me in this videou00a0-- I'll be singing in English and Hindi with a folk touch to it. We have incorporated folk tunes and Indian classical instruments along with the Western style of music.
When composer Shameer Tandon heard the song, he called me and I readily agreed. And since I really like Enrique, it felt like an honour. I am too excited about this project. I haven't seen the final video, but I am sure it will be good. I am keeping my fingers cross.
Musically yours
I really like Enrique's music. His work is very soulfulu00a0- be it English or any other language. Though we mainly bonded over the album, I know him enough to be able to say that he is a very nice person. Unlike his music, he is a fun person to be around and obviously very good looking.
Even he was very excited about being with an Indian artist. We got along well and I am sure that this will be a good association.
Enrique is a world renowned artist and even I am fairly well known in India, so I guess this venture worked for us. Neither of us had any airs about ourselves or our music. His song 'I can be your hero' has always been my personal faourite, so it feels good to have finally worked with the singer.
