Sunidhi Chauhan on web series that pairs DJs with singers: Everyone learns

At a time when music reality shows have become commonplace, Sunidhi Chauhan promises sufficient novelty in her upcoming project. "The Remix pairs DJs with singers, and the duo recreates and rearranges existing songs. The DJs are renowned composers, so, everyone gets to learn [from their work]," she says.

The Amazon Prime production marks the first reality gig on the digital platform, apart from also being the frontrunner in exploring the concept of remixing songs for reality entertainment. Interestingly, this will also mark Chauhan's co-mentors, DJ Nucleya and singer Amit Trivedi's debut as judges of a music show. Chauhan says this pairing was refreshing. "They were initially nervous, but seem comfortable now. After we heard the first contestant, we were on the same page [in terms of judgment]."

The singer says pulling off her duties is difficult, given that she is due to deliver in two months. "It's difficult for a pregnant woman to work. But, I get sufficient breaks here."
