Sukhwinder Singh likes to do things differently. Even his bhajans don't sound like the restu00a0- they're more peppy and catchy. The man who had inked a temporary Sai Baba tattoo on his chest when we met him at the launch of a devotional album, talks to CS about spirituality:

I believe that God is omnipresent. He is in those beautiful roses as well as those prickly cacti. Some believe in idols while some follow Godmen. But for me, God lives in my heart. And that's my definition of spiritualityu00a0- something done from the depth of your heart. For me, prayer is unplanned and instinctive. I don't expect anything in return. When will people understand that praying to God is not a mutual give-and-take process? And these are the same people who will forget God after their agenda is met. Prayer comes from the heart, not the head.
Being human
I love God and fear him. I'm human and I do make my share of mistakes. But every morning I pray for forgiveness and that brings the smile back on my face. Prayer can be in any form. Some prefer to do it silently, while some like to pray aloud. This album is not a project for me, it's a tribute. I had made and recorded this album some ten years back and would enjoy listening to it everyday. Then some of my friends who'd once come over to my house suggested that I release the songs for everyone to hear. So I'm not here to gain any monetary rewards!
