After debuting last year in Salman Khan's 'Hero', newcomer Sooraj Pancholi has had to wait long to bag a second project. A few months ago, things seemed to be looking up for the actor who the industry saw as promising talent, when three films starring him were announced back to back. But, now, it looks like it will be a while before things move.
Sooraj, though, insists that news about a much-hyped film on the theme of football backed by Excel Entertainment, now shelved is not true. "It has been postponed indefinitely," is how he puts it. An Ajay Devgn production directed by Remo D'souza was supposed to go on floors at the end of the year, but that may take longer to kick off. "The script has been finalised and they are working on the budget. Once things fall in place, we will start rolling," the actor clarifies. What about choreographer Bosco Martis' debut directorial project, 'Circus'?

"I have met the makers. They are still planning a few things." There is a silver lining, though. Sooraj has signed a romantic action film, he tells us, but refuses to share more. "I can't talk about it, but, I liked the script and will start shooting in January 2017. I am also in talks with Ajay [Devgn] sir for a film, which hopefully will start rolling early next year."
