Every father thanks his stars for the gift of his child. And Sonu Nigam is no exception. He tells CS that Nevaan, his four-year-old little boy, has brought a positive influence in his life. Here's a little more on the father-son bond:
Sonny blessing
When it comes to Nevaan, I am a softie. My wife Madhurima is the disciplinarian. Whenever he asks for something, I give in easily. But I must say that Nevaan is not at all a demanding kid. He very rarely asks for anything.

In fact, Nevaan is a sweet and obedient child and I daily thank God for bringing him into my life. When my son was younger, I used to call him Chotu. Nowadays, he refers to me as Chotu (laughs).
Fatherhood has been nothing less than a miraculous experience for me. After becoming a father, I have started understanding my parents even better.

This is one of the significant changes that Nevaan has brought in my life. Well, I can say that I have always been a good son to my parents. And I hope that Nevaan will be a good child for me and Madhurima.
Bachcha party
We do a lot of masti together. Watching cartoons together is one of our favourite past-times. His favourite animation series are Chota Bheem, Krishna Balaram, Spiderman and He-Man.
Both of us also share a passion for gadgets. Nevaan loves to write stuff on the iPhone and iPad. He sends me these gibberish messages during the day (laughs). Recently, he asked his mom to download a game for him. He loved watching the film Rio on my iPhone. I tell you, he's going to be a complete geek.
And like me, Nevaan is also very fond of music. He often listens to my recordings and sings with me as well. He has been with me onstage a couple of times. Nevaan is also very fond of musical instruments. I was very proud when he recently sang a couple of lines with Lata Mangeshkar for the album Sarhadein.
