Ajay Devgn to have a cameo in Simmba.

Ranveer Singh is all set to play a cop in Rohit Shetty's film, Simmba, which is a remake of the south film Temper. A report in DNA states that actor Ajay Devgn will play a cameo in this film. Well, this shouldn't come as a surprise, given the unbreakable relationship and bond shared between him and Rohit Shetty. Out of 13 films done till date by Shetty, Devgn has featured in 10 of them, Simmba, being their 11th association.

A source told the daily, "Rohit wanted someone to play a special character, so he decided to approach Ajay, who will have an interesting part in Simmba's climax. Every time Rohit plans a film, Ajay is the first one he bounces off his ideas to. In fact, he was the one who felt Ranveer would be ideal for this movie."

Revealing more about Ajay Devgn's brief character in the film, the source further added that Ajay will be seen in his Singham's cop character. "Rohit's film is a cop-drama adapted from the Telugu hit Temper. The idea was to get these two characters (Singham and Simmba) together for a scene."

However, Ranveer Singh's first look from Simmba drew a striking resemblance to Ajay Devgn's Bajirao Singham character. Apparently, Ajay immediately gave his nod to Rohit for the cameo.

Well, let's wait for the two talented actors to create magic on screen.
