Did Shekhar Suman attack Kangana Ranaut?

On Monday, a war between Kangana Ranaut fans and Shekhar Suman broke out on Twitter after the latter posted, "One cocained actress was carrying the burden of her non-existent stardom. She has fallen flat on her face and how. Guess this is poetic justice."

While Shekhar named no one, it was sort of evident that the tweet was directed at Kangana, whose latest outing, Rangoon, hasn't fared well at the box office. The veteran actor's son, Adhyayan Suman, who had opened up about an abusive relationship with Kangana last year, retweeted the post.

The actress' fans were, however, far from amused. One of them wrote, "Hi, sir, where do you and your superstar son Adhyayan Suman keep your National awards?" Shekhar then tweeted, "I'm horrified at the paid lackeys and sycophants who have jumped in defence of a lumpen so-called star. Shame on you, you paid Twitterati." Kangana, your turn.
