Working on the Sandeep Singh biopic has been a great learning experience for actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh. "I was not a sportsperson. But today, I have so much confidence that I can play a hockey match with experts," he says, adding that the story of Singh made him believe that nothing is impossible.

"Hockey khelte waqt sabse zyada zor aapki peeth pe hota hai kyunki jhuk ke khelna padta hai. Sandeep sir ko peeth pe goli lagi thi and the doctors said that he would never be able to play again. To rise from there to the extent of becoming the captain of the team and making a world record is unbelievable. By stepping into his shoes I realised the strength of passion and perseverance," says Dosanjh.
