Whilst Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had taken to crooning for his film 'Hero' starring Sooraj Pancholi, he has now turned a painter for 'Tubelight'

Salman Khan's film 'Tubelight' is making news even much before its release. The movie is touted to be the much-awaited film of this year. Right from the teaser to the recently launched trailer, 'Tubelight' is winning hearts of the audiences and the industry people have showered praises on it as well.
The main reason being superstar Salman Khan who has a fan frenzy across the globe. The man, however, stays humble and modest. The man who is said to have a golden heart is also a man of many talents. Whilst, he had taken to crooning for his protégé' Sooraj Pancholi's film 'Hero', he has now turned a painter for 'Tubelight'.
Salman Khan has been known to be a connoisseur of the fine arts and has always shown a keen interest in painting and sketching. In his alone time, Salman took to painting and was seen working on a few sketches of Jesus Christ. The entire crew was in awe of the excellent work of the actor. We hear that the actor has kept several of his paintings locked up in his Panvel farmhouse.

His film 'Tubelight' will hit the screens on June 23. The film stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, the late actor Om Puri and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.
'Tubelight' is directed by Kabir Khan and is based on the Hollywood film 'The Little Boy'.
'Tubelight' is a war drama set amidst the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War.
After blockbusters like 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tubelight' is Salman Khan and Kabir Khan's third film together.

'Tubelight' also features Salman Khan's younger brother Sohail Khan and Chinese star Zhu Zhu. 'Tubelight' marks the late actor Om Puri's last Bollywood outing.

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has bagged the overseas distribution rights -- excluding Middle East and North Africa -- for 'Tubelight'. This is Salman Khan Films' first collaboration with YRF for the overseas territory.

Salman Khan's 'Tubelight', however, might not release in Pakistan around the Eid as a few local filmmakers and organisations have demanded the release of the film in the country be put on hold.
The Pakistan Film Distributors Association and the Pakistan Film Producers Association, along with various local film-makers, are actively trying to stall the release of 'Tubelight', citing better business for the Pakistani films scheduled to release at the same time.
Shooting for 'Tubelight' had ended in February earlier this year.
