Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar sent videos containing heartwarming Diwali greetings for Indian soldiers in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative.

PM Narendra Modi has urged citizens to send Diwali wishes to soldiers through the government's new website and it's app. Salman Khan posted a video message on Facebook using the government app wishing the Indian army and it's soldiers a very Happy Diwali. The tweet read, "My hearty greetings to the army soldiers and young people of the country and Happy Diwali to all #Sandesh2Soldiers"

Akshay Kumar sent a video message through Twitter, along with a written message which read, "Ur one wish can be the reason for a lot of smiles this Diwali.Send ur #Sandesh2Soldiers now via https://www.mygov.in or Narendra Modi app."
