Saif Ali Khan, who is gearing up for the release of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, is likely to collaborate with director Navdeep Singh, who helmed Anushka Sharma-starrer NH10 (2015), for an action drama.

Sources in the know suggest work on the script is underway and talks are on with a few actors to play the lead even as rumours of Saif leading the casting race continue to abound. The project is said to be backed by Aanand L Rai and is expected to go on floors later this year. Rajasthan, it seems, have been finalised as the shooting location.
Apart from Rangoon, Saif also has Raja Menon's Chef, the remake of the eponymous 2014 Jon Favreau film.
Navdeep, who made his directorial debut with Manorama Six Feet Under (2007), will also producing a film titled Kaneda for Anushka's production banner. As per reports, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh will be part of the film.
