Salman Khan takes SRK's Ra.One head on with Rs 100 cr children's film, Sher KhanSalman Khan has decided to take on Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One with Sher Khan. The latter is a film with a budget of over Rs 100 crore, and the "best special effects ever", say insiders. While Salman Khan was keen that the film be a children's flick with great special effects, he didn't want it to be anything like Ra.One.
Brother Sohail, who is producing the film, has roped in Telugu writer Kona Venkat to script the film. Salman will play Sher Khan. However, there won't be any child in the cast. Sohail confirmed the details. "I've put the remake of the Telugu hit Parugu on hold to make Sher Khan. I gave him a one-line story brief of a lion-hearted He-man who lives his life for the world, and he loved it. I've roped in Kona Venkat who scripted the Telugu original of Ready to write Sher Khan."
Khan is keen to not play a typical superhero, especially with Ra.One's scheduled release. "Salman won't be flying in the air. he will be a herou00a0 for the kids. It will also be an intense love storyu00a0-- something that I've wanted to do with bhai for a long time. But we haven't decided on the leading lady yet," added Sohail.
