Rohit Shetty in the driver's seat

Director Rohit Shetty's penchant for doing stunts with vehicles is well known. And he does not mind going behind the wheel to get a feel of the action sequence as well. The filmmaker has this strange fascination for making cars do cartwheels if not blowing them to smithereens.

In every project of his, he gets his high seeing vehicles falling by the side. Though he has a team of action guys monitoring the stunts, he often drives himself especially when the passengers are the stars who are doing the scenes themselves.

In his next film, Shetty has a step further. He has been zooming around in a bus that has Abhishek Bachchan, Prachi Desai and Krushna Abhishek along with other cast members seated on the roof. As he was keen to showcase some high power action and keeping in mind the actors' comfort level, he preferred to drive himself.

Says Rohit, "Whenever I feel that the stunt is dangerous, I take charge myself. The actors are also comfortable having me around." In an earlier film, too, he took to the wheel that had Kareena Kapoor balancing herself on the bonnet of a car. She had apparently agreed to do the stunt on the condition that Rohit would drive the car himself. u00a0
