Riteish Deshmukh started shooting for director Indra Kumar's comedy, Total Dhamaal, which also stars Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Anil Kapoor.

But Deshmukh misses working with actor Ashish Chowdhry, who starred in the previous instalments of the Dhamaal franchise. "And the madness begins. Total Dhamaal. Will miss working with my dear friend Ashish Chowdhry," tweeted Deshmukh. Chowdhry replied, "No co-actor and especially, no friend like you... And of course no madness like we've have in ‘Dhamaal'. Go hit this one out the park once again Riteish."
