Late producer-director Sultan Ahmed's wife will soon be reviving the family's film banner. Grand celebration organised to mark his 73rd birth anniversary


Farah Sultan Ahmed, the wife of late filmmaker Sultan Ahmed is gearing up to revive her husband's banner and make films again. She is also organising a grand celebration to mark his 73rd birth anniversary.

The celebration and remembrance ceremony will happen at a Juhu five star hotel on the 15th of this month and will be attended by most of the people who have worked with the filmmaker in the past.

When contacted Farah Sultan Ahmed said, "We are also going to do some events for NGOs and one of them is going to be for the underprivileged kids along with the event we are doing on the 15th. Right now, I am making a documentary on him and we will also play an audio visual on the day, focusing on his films and work."

Farah reminisces, "There are many people in the industry who loved him for the kind of person he was. He had worked with a lot of people and most of them are coming to remember him on this occasion." Sultan Ahmed made films like Ganga Ki Saugandh, Daata, Dharam Kanta among others. u00a0
