Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor kicked up a storm on Twitter after lashing out at trolls and abusing women over direct messages (DMs) on the micro-blogging platform.

It all started when Rishi Kapoor asked a 'quiz' question to his followers in the wake of Karan Johar becoming father of twins via surrogacy and naming them Yash and Roohi.

While some fans answered it correctly...

...some Twitter users chose to troll Rishi Kapoor with their replies.

Rishi Kapoor lashed out at the user and abused him by replying, "F''k you d''''''d!"

Rishi Kapoor's response garnered a lot of criticism and sparked outrage on social media.

Following the incident, at least two women posted screenshots of Rishi Kapoor sending them abusive messages via DMs.

After a fan's word of advice, Rishi Kapoor stopped his abusive rant against trolls and vowed to continue blocking haters without 'explanation'.
