Is there any other actor in Bollywood who pays homage to all the artists who have contributed to making Hindi Cinema what it is today? Can you think of anyone else but Rishi Kapoor, who wishes everyone on their birthdays and also remembers people on their death anniversaries?
Today was one such day! Filmmaker Manmohan Desai, the master of masala entertainment, would have turned 83 today. Born on February 26, 1937, the genius director gave us some of the most entertaining and enigmatic films of all time. Kapoor, who worked with him in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb, and Coolie, remembered him with a classic throwback picture that shows how strong their bond was.

Well, apart from Rishi, he worked with Shammi Kapoor in Budtameez, Raj Kapoor in Chhalia, and Randhir Kapoor in Chacha Bhatija, to name a few other Kapoor's. His films may have led to the coining of the term- Suspend your disbelief. Long back, when asked in an interview about why his films don't have logic, he said because he doesn't believe in it. And he cannot put in his films something he doesn't believe in.
His films also led to the coining of the term- Lost and Found. But he refused to take the credit for starting this trend. He felt it was Bombay Talkies's film, Kismet, which was lost and found, Raj Kapoor's Awara was lost and found. He said he came into the picture much later. He was a man gone too soon!
