On actor Vinod Mehra's 73rd birth anniversary, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor remembered his good friend. Rishi on Tuesday took to Twitter, where he shared a photograph of Vinod. "Another friend who went away too early. We were good friends but we never worked together ever. When he turned director, I was one of his heroes but he couldn't complete that film 'Guru Dev'. Happy birthday Vinod. RIP!" Rishi wrote.
Vinod acted in over 100 films from the 1970s. He died of a heart attack in 1990 at the age of 45.
