Karan's family fixes Karan's wedding with Binkle (Athiya Shetty), daughter of one of the wealthiest families in London. "Mubarakan is the fastest film Anees Bazmee has ever made. Within six months we shot the film in London and was ready to release. I play the character of a bachelor uncle, Kartar Singh who is the most lovable character of the family. He is being loved by youngsters as well as elders. It's a very well written and well-conceived character which I have never done earlier. I have not played a full-fledged Sikh character before so when we started shooting I was very skeptical because lot of established actors have done this before. I am lucky that I got to play a British-Asian Sardar which has not been done in any movie before. I had to work a little bit on the character like dialect and nuances before we started shooting."
