She always fantasised about riding a mean machine like Angelina Jolie and it looks like the universe has been rather attentive to her wishes. Actor Sameera Reddy is going to be doing all that she's always dreamed of in her next film, Tezu00a0-- from riding big bikes to swimming in ice cold water. Sexy Sam reveals her sporty side to CS:
I'm a complete adventure freak. In fact, I was so gung ho about experimenting with all the dangerous stunts that my film trainer had to tell me to calm down.
I've always known how to ride, but strangely enough, when they asked me to practise on a Scooty, I found myself falling every other minute.
It was quite a joke on the sets because I had been bragging about my biking expertise. And then I saw a big bike and I told the guys on the sets that I wanted to ride it.
They were very wary of my confidence till they saw me on it. So as crazy as this may sound, I can manoeuvre big bikes, but not the small ones. I'm riding a Harley Davidson these days.
Fear factor
I'm also looking forward to swimming in ice-cold water in the height of Scotland winters. And believe it or not, till a few years ago, I was hydrophobic.
But my mother's philosophy in life has always been to make us do what we dread doing the most. So in 2008, I got myself a scuba diving license. In fact, it was because of the same theory that my mom endorses that I took to acting.
While in school and college, I would break into sweat if I had to go on stage to give a speech. I'm glad that I've overcome that fear now through acting.
Sport on
I haven't always been a sporty kid. In school, I didn't take part in any sport, except Javelin in which I broke all records. And strangely enough, I had no idea how to throw it, it was always by fluke, but it worked. I didn't always have an athletic body like I do now.
I was a chubby kid. But I've always been a Tomboy. Offer me a choice between the world's biggest diamond and the fastest car and I'll choose the latter; or a holiday on the beach or scuba diving and it will again be the latter.
I think you can be a Tomboy and still look hot; I could go diving in a bikini. Being sporty is hot and I think that the Indian film industry is ready for such roles. I don't think there is anyone in this world who doesn't find Angelina Jolie of Lara Croft or Charlize Theron of Hancock hot. I think we are ready for a change. Bollywood, here I come!u00a0u00a0
