With her film Mardaani up for release, and a long-standing wish of getting married to Aditya Chopra finally fulfilled, it is easy to guess why Rani would make the trek to Kamakhya.
However Rani's spokesperson says, "Rani Mukerji and her family are devotees of Kali and Durga and frequently visit the Kali temple in Kolkata so this was one of those visits. As it was after her wedding she went to seek blessings."
