Gossip mills have it that a film is being planned on underworld don Babloo Srivastava, who is currently serving a life sentence at the Bareilly Central Jail in connection with several criminal cases. And Rahul Bhat, last seen in Anurag Kashyap's 'Ugly', has apparently been finalised to play the protagonist.

Says a source, "The casting team auditioned a lot of aspirants, but the makers zeroed in on Rahul Bhat to essay the gangster's role."
A source close to the actor, however, says: "Rahul is considering the role, but nothing has been finalised as yet. It's a challenging role and will take a lot of effort on any actor's part to portray the character."
The film will follow the gangster's early life from 1984 to 1995 and how he went from being a law student of Lucknow University to an underworld don, a former associate of Dawood Ibrahim. The film will be shot majorly in Uttar Pradesh as well as in overseas locations.
Rahul was not available to confirm the buzz.
