I love reading. I read everything from newspapers, magazines to books, brochures, etc. Though I don't carry a book everywhere I go, you'll never find me without a newspaper. Though I'm an avid reader, I prefer to put up my feet and relax with a good novel.



I am very fond of reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novels. His book Love in the Time of Cholera is my all-time favorite. Apart from this, I also admire the work of Indian authors like Amitav Ghosh and Vikram Seth. I had a good time reading Vikram Seth's An Equal Music, which is set in contemporary Europe and focuses on the lives of classical musicians and their music.

But besides reading, the one thing that I totally enjoy is eating and cooking. My cooking involves a lot of experimentation. And I freak out over salads and soups. I love exploring cuisines in different restaurants and am extremely fond of Japanese food from Wasabi at Taj. The pasta mushroom dish from Olive in Bandra has my mouth watering 24x7. I'm also a big addict of dark chocolate and start my day with a full mug of concentrated dark chocolate!
