Pulkit Samrat, who recently enjoyed a hit in Fukrey Returns (2017), says he does not get affected by success or failure of his projects. The actor says he simply moves on to his next project, irrespective of how the last outing fared at the box office.
"I do not carry the hangover of success to my new film. For me, every film is a new assignment. Therefore, I start it with fresh energy. I don't let success or failure affect me," says Samrat. Though he has worked in successful films like Fukrey (2013) and Fukrey Returns, most of his solo lead movies such as Sanam Re (2016) and Junooniyat (2016) failed to work at the box office.
Samrat insists he does not regret choosing these films. "I have learnt something from each film... Filmmaking is a collaborative effort and success comes when every part of filmmaking works correctly," says the actor. Samrat has 3 Storeys and Veerey Ki Wedding in the pipeline.
